The companies that comprise Old Mutual’s U.S. Life business deliver a diverse portfolio of annuities and life insurance products via an established group of master general agents. Products are distributed in all states and the District of Columbia. Old Mutual U.S. Life has nearly one million policyholders nationwide.

As of September 30, 2010, OM Financial Life Insurance Company and OM Financial Life Insurance Company of New York (OM Financial Life) had $17.0 billion in statutory-basis assets. In-force life business was valued at $109 billion as of December 31, 2009*. ($15.4 billion have been set aside for OM Financial Life policyholder liabilities as of September 30, 2010). Total IFRS-basis assets for US Life, including its direct affiliates were $21.4 billion as of September 30, 2010.
