BeamaLife Sponsors Second Annual South Asian Excellence Awards
Piscataway, NJ, May 15, 2009 – BeamaLife Corporation proudly sponsored the literature category at the second annual South Asian Excellence Awards (SAEA) in New York City.
‘Literature represents a very important piece of the fabric of our society which makes us humans even more human,” said Neil Jesani, CEO and Founder of BeamaLife.com
This year’s literature category winner was Anne Cherian, author of The Good Indian Wife. Cherian, who was born and raised in Jamshedpur, India, has received much praise over her new book and second publication.
A native of the western Indian state of Gujarat, Mr. Jesani said, ‘The decision to participate as a category sponsor in this year’s event was an important, but also a natural choice.
‘By participating in this important event as a category sponsor, we gave our company, employees, and customers a collective front-row opportunity to fully recognize the talent of the South Asian community here in the U.S. At BeamaLife, we strive to recognize excellence, something that is not done nearly enough, and this event gave us a unique and rewarding opportunity to do.”
The SAEA is quickly becoming a highly regarded event among the South Asian community both here in the U.S. and abroad and BeamaLife plans to continue sponsoring the literature category for years to come.
